A beautiful example of what was once described as the most beautiful car in the world by none other than Enzo Ferrari.
Purchased in 2012 as a car ready to drive in very nice condition with a few imperfections it was decided to have the body stripped to bare metal and repainted in Jaguar opalescent grey metallic this was the colour when the car was purchased in 2012 the original colour of cream was changed to grey in 1997 by the E type Centre.
After coming back from Bodyshop it was decided a new set of chrome wires should be fitted so a new set was purchased along with exact matching tyres from Vintage tyres at Beaulieu, I do still have the original enamel painted wheels and tyres.

We have an extensive history file which shows works that have been carried out over the years, along with photos of various jobs that were undertaken.
Since purchasing in 2012 with 105000 miles it has only covered 2000 miles the furthest drive from Southampton to Goodwood.
The car has been kept in a heated garage since purchase or in our showroom here at Calmore.
The interior is all original and in lovely condition with the seats being recoloured and sealed in 2014.
The engine runs perfectly and has had the carburettors rebuilt and the electric fuel pump rebuilt, the oil pressure is in line with Jaguar recommendations and we have recently renewed the water pump and all coolant hoses as required.

Registered 01/01/1971 this would be one of the last series 2 cars registered before the release of the series 3 V12, we have a Jaguar Heritage certificate proving a matching numbers car, we have nearly all the MOT certificates dating back to the first MOT done on February 12th 1974 at 29805 miles.
Now showing 107000 miles over the entire life of the car shows an average mileage of 1945 miles per year. It is now time for someone else to enjoy this wonderful car.
